A great many experts have taken a stab at this question.  So my viewpoint is just one of many thoughts on this subject.  When I first heard of this term 6 years ago, I was completely confused.  It sounded cool and sounded like this huge industry, but I really had no clue what it meant.  What I learned is that there is no one right answer, so no wonder it’s confusing!
